Serve Teams

There are so many areas to get involved and so many different ways to use your talents for God's Kingdom. God gave you these gifts to use for His glory. Even if you're not feeling gifted at the moment, we'd love for you to get involved. You may surprise yourself!

Converge Kids – This team engages our children, infant through preteen, through play, learning and fellowship activities. Opportunities to serve are available on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and special events. Contact our Children's Ministry Director, Kitty Bowen

Converge Youth – This team teaches our youth to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ and prepares them to impact the world for God’s glory. Fellowship, play, worship and teaching as well as one-on-one connection are all intricate parts of this ministry. Contact our Youth Ministry Director, Connor McGettigan

Converge Women – This team seeks to glorify God and advance His Kingdom through creative outreach, compassionate support and the loving encouragement of women toward women. Opportunities to serve include the Annual Women's Retreat, Women's Bible Study and Fellowship (Thursday evenings), Heart2Heart Bible Study and Fellowship (Wednesday evenings) and a monthly gathering for bible teaching and fellowship at the Word Cafe. Converge Men – This team seeks to provide a safe hub for all men (young and old) to fellowship, share, gather and support each other as needed. Opportunities to serve include a variety of gatherings, teaching meetings, accountability groups, retreats and outreach activities. Contact our Ministry Coordinator, Wayne Naylor

First Impressions - This team brings their smiles and a warm welcome to our guests. This is the team that answers the front door! They greet visitors and members as they enter the church building, guide them to their locations, help them feel at home and answer any questions. Contact our Team Leader, Jill Kimakovich

Security Team - This team consists of church members who are physically capable, qualified to serve and willing to respond to the security needs of the church in the event of a critical incident or security crisis. Contact our Team Leader, Sam DelValle

Maintenance Team - This team is responsible for assessing the condition of the facilities and site. The team meets periodically to plan and execute maintenance projects around our church. The team also participates in our church workdays. Contact our Team Leader, Dave Bowen

Worship Team – This team leads the worship music portion of our Sunday services and special services through a diversity of styles that are focused on exalting Christ. Contact our Team Leader, Tim McHale

Youth Worship Team – This team is multigenerational and leads the worship music portion of our youth services. Contact our Team Leader, Tim McHale

Create Team – This team is responsible for all seasonal and event-based design and decoration throughout the building. Contact our Team Leader, Tim McHale

Drama Team – This team uses the art of acting to tell stories and convey spiritual truths. Contact our Team Leader, Deborah Hagans

Praise Dance Team – This team enhances the worship experience through God-focused dance. Contact our Team Leader, Tim McHale

Production Team – This team is responsible for our live stream operation, slides and PowerPoint presentations as well as production set-up and tear down, audio production and live mixing. If you have a passion for engineering, tech and making things work – they want you! Contact our Team Leader, Ron Schepis

Outreach Ministry Team – Seeds of Hope Outreach Volunteers meet at Converge Church @ 7:15 AM on the fourth Saturday of each month. Contact our Team Leader, Craig Randolph

Church as Family Team – As we seek to do life together, come support our primary group coordinating the curriculum. Contact our Team Leader, Tim McHale

Deacons – This team is the “support team” of the church. While Elders teach biblical theology and see to the spiritual needs of the congregation, Deacons take care of the practical issues. Contact our Team Leader, Tony DiMartino

Trustees – The Trustees are the recommending body to the church Leadership, Senior Pastors and Elders regarding the financial and operational business of the church. Contact our Team Leader, Paula Strollo
